If I could get paid to be a life long student, I would totally do it! I truly LOVE education. I love the lesson planning, the grading, the assessing, learning about how our brains work, staying on top of the ever changing best practices, and everything else that comes with education.

My Bachelor’s degree is in Elementary Education and I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Gifted Education. I have over 15 years experience working in the school system as a classroom teach and school administrator.

I have experience with school accreditations from Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Middle States Association (MSA), being team members and lead chair.

My favorite areas to provide professional development are differentiation, math games, authentic learning, and gifted education. But, I have provided training on much more!

Homeschool, of course, is my passion and I am pouring everything I have into teaching and training my own boys. I don’t think my homeschool style has a name as it doesn’t fit into a single specific category (but that’s a whole post in itself 😉 Throughout this journey, I have learned so much about my boys that I didn’t know before I started homeschooling.

I was terrified to begin homeschool! In fact this is one of the driving purposes for Amanda Bradley | Education. My reasons are….

  1. If my crazy self can homeschool, so can you! I want to help families take the leap of faith and begin their homeschool journey. I want to empower moms and dads to feel confident and provide the tools for those just starting out to do so.
  2. I love creating and writing. In a world where I didn’t hold several jobs, I would do much more of it. Some posts may be long while others may be short but I enjoy typing every word! While I do use pre-made materials for my boys, I also love to create my own. So, why not share it!
  3. My previous role in administration and my current consultation position at a private school helped me see a bigger picture of the struggles of a school as a whole. I want to help smaller schools who don’t have some of the resources, time, or money, to accomplish their goals.

Amanda Bradley | Education was created to help both private and homeschool educators create a better experience for students. After all, the future is in their hands!
